19-22 August 2025 in Dakar, Senegal.
Three member commissions of the ECF-SADC namely CNE- Angola, IEC Lesotho and ECZ- Zambia and a member of the ECF-SADC Secretariat participated at the above training aimed at equipping participants with the requisite skills, knowledge, and professional development in internationally accepted principles of democracy and good electoral practices. The three commissions were selected on the basis of holding elections in 2026 / 2027.
The training was organised by The African Union, in partnership with International IDEA. The training equipped election management staff with technical skills and deeper understanding of electoral processes, enhanced capacity building and promotion of inclusivity and sharing of best practices among the EMB staff.
