The launch of the revised Principles for Election Management, Monitoring & Observation in the SADC Region (PEMMO) a project financially supported by USAID, was witnessed at the 25th Annual General Conference & Anniversary of the ECF-SADC held on 27 November to 2nd December 2023 in Cape town, South Africa .
The ECF-SADC and EISA recognized the importance of revising the PEMMO and it provides benchmarks, creates a body of knowledge to foster peer learning and sharing of best practices in promoting credible elections in the SADC region. The revised PEMMO is available in four (4) SADC languages English, Portuguese, Swahili and French. Download the revised PEMMO below:
