1. The 27th Annual General Conference of the Electoral Commissions Forum of SADC countries was hosted by the Elections and Boundaries Commission (EBC) of the Kingdom of Eswatini in the period 1st 5th December 2025.
2. The Keynote address and official opening of the 27th Annual General Conference was done on the 2nd December 2025 by the representative of His Majesty King Mswati III (HRH Prince Lonkhokhela).

Alongside its 27th Annual General Conference, a Seminar was convened on the theme Artificial Elections and Elections, Threats and Opportunities To explore the threats, opportunities and prospects presented by AI in electoral contexts, the ECF-SADC collaborated with esteemed election practitioners, international and regional organizations, to provide a platform of engagement for EMBs and experts to discuss the dynamics of the use of Artificial Intelligence and electoral integrity and to offer actionable insights and framework for Election Management. Participants at the Seminar included Election Management Bodies represented by Chairpersons, Commissioners, CEOs and senior Officials of EMBs, Senior officials and electoral stakeholders from the Kingdom of Eswatini, electoral experts and esteemed resource persons and partners from Regional and International Organizations.
4. The Conference was made possible by the support to the EBC from the Government of the Kingdom of Eswatini. Appreciation also goes to the ECF-SADC partners, notably International IDEA, the European Union and all supporting institutions and organisations that contributed technically, financially, or logistically to the success of this Conference. Their continued collaboration advances the ECF-SADC shared mission of promoting credible, transparent elections.
